We are a comptitive team, but it's not required --- all are welcome! Instructor, Richard Opgenorth, is a 4th DAN black belt. Teaching youth and adults, Pankration/MMA/Jiu Jitsu/Kick Boxing/Self-Defense. Youth classes are mixed ages, as older kids help younger ones, and are held from 4 -6p on Monday & Wednesday. Classes are $10 for 1st person, $5 for each additional(family rate). This is a competit
ive team, however competition is not required. We use what we learn at various tournaments. The fees incurred are in addition to class fees, information is provided per tournament. We currently hold 15 gold medals, & 5 silvers --- & a Bronze from a National Competition. We have two students who are Pankration qualifiers. We have one student who will be representing the USA at the 2015 World Pankration Championships in Turkey this fall. As an instructor I also stress life lessons. Teaching values, respect for self & others, education importance, etc. Students are rewarded for hard work and good behavior!
