The Sierra Gymkhana Series

The Sierra Gymkhana Series A horse activities community event series held at the Sierra High School Olsen Arena in Tollhouse CA. No running into or out of the arena. NO dogs or puppies.

Rules and Guidelines:
Participants must ride same horse for the day. Red ribbon on tail for a horse that kicks. NO studs or donkeys; Mules are okay. NO bad language or attitudes. NO Alcohol, to***co, or drugs. NO running around school grounds, everyone must stay by arena. NO riders are allowed by trailers without an adult. Liability waiver (that you understand horses and horse activities can be da

ngerous) must be signed and on file. Helmet waiver(if you elect to not wear one) must be signed and on file. Anyone that might sit, ride, or help with a horse must sign a Liability waiver, this includes parents, siblings, etc. General Information:
Fastest time in each event for each age group is awarded first place. Ribbons are given out to everyone who get a time, 1st thru 6th place winners, all others who had a time receive a participant ribbon. Standings/scoring are tallied using a point system. High point award is given out to 1 person in each age group at the end of the day, based on most points earned that day. An incorrect pattern run results in a “no-time” for that pattern. Must compete in 4 of the 5 gymkhanas to qualify for end of season awards. There will also be a snack bar available during the event. You may bring chairs and shade covers.
