Under the leadership of Eric Otto, Artistic Director, Toledo Ballet offers a complete, inclusive program for all students. Our instructors utilize core principles from the American Ballet Theater National Training Curriculum, focusing on kinetics, coordination, anatomy, and proper body alignment. Toledo Ballet faculty bring a wide range of training and experience from a variety of ballet philosoph

ies for a well-rounded dance education. Students advance through levels Pre-Primary through Level 6/7 in a safe and structured way. Beyond ballet, Toledo Ballet offers classes in jazz, modern, tap, and more! Toledo Ballet's Adaptive Dance Program offers differently-abled individuals specialized instruction.

The Toledo Ballet Winter Works Choreographic Competition invites emerging choreographers to create an original work on our 10 professional company dancers and premiere it with the opportunity for live accompaniment from the Toledo Symphony and Toledo Jazz Orchestra.

Selected choreographers will receive a January 2027 creative residency, travel and lodging accommodations, dedicated studio access, and the opportunity to present a fully produced world premiere performance of their work with the opportunity for accompanied by live musicians of the Toledo Symphony on February 13, 2027.

Plus, one lucky winner will be selected to win the Artistic Choice Award and will receive a $500 prize.

This beloved Halloween tradition follows Ichabod Crane's journey to the mysterious town of Sleepy Hollow, where he falls for the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel and comes face to face with the infamous Headless Horseman.
