Jumpstart Basketball

Jumpstart Basketball is an Ohio based basketball program designed to enhance the skill development of young athletes.

Founded on character, discipline, teamwork and respect. Our mission is to take young student-athlete's ability to the next level. We offer competitive travel teams, camps, clinics, and group training sessions for both boy and girl players. We develop the fundamental basketball skills needed to succeed on the court while maintaining a fun and personal environment. Another great house league session is in the books! These 5th-6th grade boys got a ton of reps and improved as both players and teammates over the last five weeks. We had competitive games every week and even a few overtime buzzer beaters!

Thank you to all our families for participating and supporting our program. We will be back in July for our next session. ⚡️

A great spring house league came to an end today! Congratulations to our tournament winners and thank you to all of our participants, parents and volunteer coaches for spending your last five Saturdays with us. 🙌⚡️🏀

Registration for our second spring house league session is now live! A great alternative to traditional travel basketball! We are getting kids game-speed reps, building confidence and having fun.

3rd-4th grade training will be led by Coach Alex Geisel, founder/owner of Jumpstart and Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Anthony Wayne High School.

5th-8th grade training packages available through Rice Basketball Academy and Coach Lamar Rice.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to our Jumpstart family and friends!! We have received a lot of messages about our plans for 2026 and want everyone to know that we will have our spring and summer programming schedule for the year out in a just few weeks! We are looking forward to continuing to provide spring, summer and fall house leagues and developmental training while Rice Basketball Academy leads our travel and AAU efforts. 🙏🤝🙌
