Black Island Martial Arts Black Island Martial Arts specializes in the Filipino martial art of Modern Arnis. Our instructors train under Master of Tapi-tapi Chuck Gauss. Ed. Mike Sherman.

Black Island Martial Arts is a Martial Arts Club with the goal of promoting the art of Modern Arnis, its use as a form of self-defense, and its incorporation within other forms of martial arts. We welcome any individual interested in training no matter what their level of experience may be. The classes are based on drills which promote a variety of martial arts concepts such as timing, range, econ
