I’m Claire Hertzfeld, a junior in college at the University of St. Andrews (in beautiful Scotland) in psychology and social anthropology! In the future, I plan to continue studying psychology and become a developmental or social psychologist. I also plan to keep bees🐝
Fun facts: I trained in classical ballet for 11 years, I can still touch my toes!
I love making art, my favorite kinds to do are pottery, watercolors, and oil pastels.
This summer, I started working at Courageous Acres as a camp counselor!

Aislynn grew up dancing at Miss Lori’s Dance Express, where she learned ballet, lyrical, and jazz and danced competitively. A graduate of Wittenberg University, she works full-time as a Volunteer Specialist with Lucas County CASA and has experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, hosting, long walks, being by the water and watching the sunset. One of her favorite colors is purple. She also likes spaghetti, tacos. She and her husband share their home with an Australian Shepherd named Apollo. Aislynn is excited to join Dance, Move & Groove as an instructor and believes in inclusive movement, joyful expression, and the confidence dance can build.
Fun Fact: Aislynn has traveled to about 15 states!

DMG: Dance Move & Groove is an adaptive dance and fitness class designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities, held weekly at Manahan in Toledo. Our program focuses on staying active, healthy, and confident through a fun combination of dance, fitness, and engaging games. Every class is thoughtfully tailored to meet each participant’s unique needs and abilities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
Beyond fitness, DMG is about connection. We regularly take part in fun community events that help build friendships, boost confidence, and create lasting memories.
This summer, we’re excited to offer two special series in addition to our weekly classes, giving participants even more opportunities to move, grow, and have fun.
