A Message to Our Parents & Community
We have been made aware of a video currently circulating involving a former athlete who was previously a part of our program.
First and foremost, we want to make it absolutely clear that the behavior displayed in that video does not represent the values, standards, or expectations of our program. We do not condone bullying, fighting, violence, or any form of intentionally harming another child.
We also want to clarify that the individual shown in the video has not been an athlete with our program for some time. While we cannot control the choices someone makes after leaving our program, we can speak to the standards we hold for the athletes who are currently entrusted to us.
Our program is built on respect, discipline, accountability, teamwork, and being a positive example both on and off the field. We take the safety and well-being of every child seriously, and we will continue to hold our athletes to those expectations.
We ask our parents, athletes, and community to please avoid speculation, spreading additional videos, or engaging in online arguments surrounding this situation. There are children involved, and our focus should remain on their safety and well-being.
Thank you to everyone who reached out to bring this to our attention. We stand firmly against bullying and violence, and we will continue doing our part to teach our athletes that what we do off the mat matters just as much as what we do on it. π¦
