Looking for a great hike near Lutsen?

From the moment you start, the beauty of Minnesota’s boreal forest surrounds you. Take in the vivid greens of summer or the vibrant reds and golds of fall.

Pause by Lake Agnes for a perfect picnic spot, or continue to the natural overlook for breathtaking views.

Don’t forget to check out the short spur trail to White Sky Rock for an extra dose of beauty on your way.

Ready to explore the North Shore on two wheels? We’ve got you covered with a variety of rental bikes, including e-bikes, mountain bikes, and bikes perfect for paved trails!

✨ Paved Trail Adventure: Head south/east from our shop for a scenic ride through stunning aspen and boreal forests. You’ll pass through Temperance River State Park, cross the gorge, and make your way to the Cross River Falls in Schroeder. Don’t forget to stop by Schroeder Baking Company for a well-deserved treat before heading back!

✨ Lake Superior Views: Ride north/east from Tofte on the Gitchi Gami trail toward Lutsen along a beautiful forested trail with epic views of Lake Superior.

✨ Mountain Biking Thrills: If you’re into a more adventurous ride, check out the Britton Peak trail system, just 2.5 miles up the Sawbill Trail from Tofte. With recently rehabbed trails like Short Stacker, Crosscut, and Jackpot, there’s something for every skill level!
