Yesterday, we had the opportunity to watch some of our older teams compete in the Zoom Into June tournament, and what an experience it was for our girls!
To finish the day, our team participated in the Lady Dukes Camp as the youngest group on the field. Despite the age gap and being alongside 16U and 18U athletes, our girls absolutely held their own and received a ton of positive feedback throughout the event. We could not be more proud of the way they carried themselves, and represented our organization and team. This experience gave them a firsthand look at the level of competition we are striving toward. Seeing college scouts from across the Southeast and Northeast — including programs like University of Georgia, University of Mississippi, Auburn University, University of South Carolina, University of Illinois, and many more, lit a fire in these girls and motivated them to continue pushing, grinding, and working harder every single day. Before taking the field, the girls were reminded of three simple words:
Effort. Attitude. Hustle.
They embraced every one of them.
We are incredibly proud of how they showcased themselves, their teammates, and our program. The future is bright for this group.
