🎉 Happiest of Birthday wishes to Mr. Josh today!! 🎂🥳

Mr. Josh works tirelessly every day helping instruct classes, managing the front desk, working events, decorating for every theme we can dream up 😂, and doing about a million other things behind the scenes that most people never even see.

But more than everything he does for Excel, we’re grateful for who he is and the impact he has on our students and families. ❤️

We are incredibly lucky to have him as such a huge part of our Excel family, and we hope he knows just how loved and appreciated he is!

There are days at Excel that just hit your heart a little differently. Today was one of those days. ❤️🥋

To say we are proud just doesn’t do justice to what was accomplished today — or over all the years it took to get here.

Today we watched a mom and daughter test for Black Belt together, side by side. How incredibly special is that? All the classes, the hard days, the laughs, the challenges, the growth… and today they got to share this moment together. ❤️

And alongside them were two of our Black Belts recerting — continuing to train, challenge themselves and show that earning a Black Belt was never the end of their journey.

Looking at those four on the floor today, I didn’t just see four people testing. I saw years of memories. I saw where they started, how much they’ve grown, what they’ve overcome and who they’ve become along the way.

That’s the part that gets me.

We get to teach martial arts, yes — but we also get the incredible privilege of becoming part of people’s lives and watching moments like this happen right in front of us.

My heart was SO full today. ❤️

Black Belts — what you accomplished today was incredible, but who you’ve become getting here means even more.

We love you. We are so very proud of you.

What a day. What a journey. What a memory. 🥋❤️I will remember this forever! Thank you!

🥋 TESTING WEEKEND — YOU DID IT! 🥋

What an incredible weekend of testing at Excel Martial Arts! ❤️ I find it’s hard to describe what was accomplished this weekend and what was felt this weekend.

We are SO proud of every student who stepped onto the floor and gave it their all. Testing isn’t just about earning a new belt — it’s about showing the discipline, courage, perseverance, respect, and confidence it took to get there. And the growth you have achieved since your last belt graduation .

Every new belt represents hours on the mats… classes when you were tired, techniques that didn’t come easily at first, corrections you worked hard to fix, and the decision to keep showing up. 💪

And this weekend, all of that hard work showed!

👏 Congratulations to all of our students on your promotions! From yellow belt to black belt! Wear those new belts proudly — you earned them!

A huge THANK YOU to our families for everything you do behind the scenes. The rides to class, the encouragement, the practicing at home, the busy schedules and the cheering from the sidelines — you are a huge part of every student’s success. ❤️we love and appreciate you!

And thank you to our Excel instructors and team for investing so much time, energy and heart into helping our students grow — not only as martial artists, but as young people.

📚💙 LOOK WHAT OUR EXCEL FAMILY DID! 💙📚

A few weeks ago, we asked our families to help us with a simple goal: collect copy paper for our local elementary schools.

And you showed up! 🥹👏

Thanks to everyone who donated paper, contributed money, and helped support our Copy Paper Drive, we were able to deliver 68 reams of copy paper — that’s 34,000 sheets! — to TWO of our local partner elementary schools! 📄✏️🍎

We know copy paper isn’t the flashiest school supply, but teachers go through an incredible amount of it throughout the year. Every worksheet, activity, practice page, classroom project, and note home adds up — and we hope this helps make their school year just a little easier. ❤️

One of the things we want our students to learn at Excel Martial Arts goes far beyond kicks, punches, forms, and belts. Being a martial artist also means learning to serve, give back, and take care of the community around you.

A HUGE thank you to every Excel family who helped make this possible. Whether you donated one ream, several reams, or contributed toward the purchase — you were part of this.

📚🎒 A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Excel Martial Arts Family! 💙

Because of your incredible generosity during our Christmas in July, Excel Martial Arts donated nearly 180 pounds of school supplies to help local students through the Brevard Schools Foundation Fill a Backpack event!

Every notebook, folder, pencil, and backpack will help students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our amazing students, families, and community.

At Excel Martial Arts, we believe in building stronger leaders both on and off the mat. Giving back to our community is one more way we can make a positive impact together.

Thank you to everyone who made any purchase during Christmas in July and helped make this possible. You truly make a difference! ❤️
