🎉 It’s almost the most wonderful week of the year—Vacation Bible School, Taekwondo Style! 🥋

Our older students will rotate through nunchucks, sword, bo staff, ninja course, demo team training, and board breaking! They’ll learn challenging kicks, participate in exciting team challenges, and grow in self-control, focus, respect, and hard work.

Our littles will enjoy rotations including kicks, Taekwondo forms, ninja course, board breaking, demo team activities, and more!

Next week is Self-Defense Week at Courageous Kicks! Students will learn awareness skills, basic self-defense techniques, internet and technology safety, and how to stay safe in everyday situations.

We had a great time this week doing sparring drills, sparring matches, crafts, games, and learning about the history of Taekwondo!

Our next Summer Enrichment Program is June 15–19, where students will learn self-defense skills, how to be more aware of their surroundings, and grow in confidence.

🚨 Self-Defense Week is coming! 💪🥋

June 15–19 we are hosting an exciting Self-Defense Summer Enrichment Camp designed to help kids build confidence, awareness, and important real-world safety skills in a fun and encouraging environment!

Students will learn:
✔️ Awareness and confidence skills
✔️ Basic strikes and kicks
✔️ How to get out of grabs
✔️ Safe social media habits, including avoiding location tagging and staying smart online

We’ll also have tons of fun games and activities that help build coordination, quick reactions, and strong muscle memory while keeping kids active and engaged all week long!

This week has been all about Taekwondo! Students have been learning and practicing kicks, studying the Forces of Taekwondo book, and completing hands-on crafts that help them learn more about the history, values, and traditions of Taekwondo. It has been an exciting week full of learning, movement, and fun—and the excitement will continue all summer long!
