Excellent night at the dojo.

First up was Goju Ryu karate and we covered all kyu rank kata.

Second was Small Circle Jujitsu. We covered knife disarms from Angle 1,2 & 12.

Third was a private class. The client started learning Flow Drill 4 (Turtle) as part of the topic for the month. Finished off with free rolling.

What a way to start off a Monday. Private class is ✅. The client repped 30 minutes of Flow Drill 1 (first 3 of 5 sweeps) then sprawl > cross face turnover and finished with three 4 minute rounds (30 sec breaks). Excellent job today!

Saturday evening private class ✅ The client worked on the first 3 sweeps of flow drill 1 and then onto repping out some turtle attacks.

Finished it off with a couple of free rolls.

Busy evening in the dojo!

First was our Small Circle Jujitsu class. We covered a flow using a majority of Blue Belt curriculum finger and wrist locks.

Second was a private class. The client worked on a flow drill as well. Sprawl counter > sit out > to turtle control > back take > submission.

Finished off with live rolls.

Morning private class is in the books. The client worked on the turtle spin or around the world drill, clock choke, anaconda then put all three together as a flow drill.

From a LEO We also discussed letting the bad guy post from a belly down prone position to get a proper back mount arm grip to bring around to a cuffing position.

Tonight’s client worked dog fight from guard pass attempt to 3 counters to dog fight to achieving a better position.
