One more important piece of information!

We will be having a parent meeting Wednesday after practice. We will meet out at the track and discuss everything a parent might need to know about the upcoming season. We plan on starting right around 5:15 and finishing up by 5:30. Please share the word!

TMS Track and Field Practices have started up this week and it’s never too late for your kid to join! Practices run from 3:30-5:15 Monday-Friday and we meet in the middle school gym. All you need is a pair of running shoes and a physical!

With our last meet quickly approaching we decided to add a new tradition this year. Last night after practice we all got together for a team dinner and some BINGO. Special thanks to all the parents for organizing and bringing food and drinks. We’d also like to thank the C. W. Mount Community Center & Banquet Facility for hosting us. The bond this team has is something special!

What a night full of great performances!

Boys Race Results: 3rd place team finish with Griffin Gilliam and Elijah Long bringing in top 10 finishes. Congratulations to Brody Fakes, Jace Fakes, and Brayden Franki on PRs!
Girls Race Results: 2nd place team finish with Monroe Stewart, Cami Condict, and Macie Comer bringing in top 10 finishes. Congratulations to Macie Comer being the only girl to PR!

The heart and guts of this team is incredible and the sky is the limit. Comprised mostly of 5th and 6th graders there is so much room to grow. Such an amazing group to be around and see constantly getting better and supporting each other!

Just finished up our first meet of the season. I loved seeing how hard everyone pushed themselves tonight. Congrats to our ribbon earners!

Middle School XC Practice News:

This will be the last week of optional practices going Monday-Thursday 3:30-4:45 (no Friday practice). Starting next week 8/14 we will have mandatory practices running from 3:30-4:45 Mon-Thurs with an optional Friday practice. To be able to attend practice on the 14th you will need to make sure your kid’s physical and accompanying paperwork is turned in to the office.

All kids 5th-8th are welcome! Please share and spread the word!
