I’ve started a new routine of making these for my husband and I as well as the kids for a mid-gym snack (we work at our gyms so we need things that are quick, calorie dense, and nutritious!)

Lead Trainer: Vargo Trained lead trainer
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Trainer to join our team and work with driven, committed athletes who are held to culture standards and hungry to improve.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years working with multi-age, multi-sport athletes of varying abilities and have a proven track record of his or her ability to coach enthusiastically while executing the program efficiently and meeting the needs of all athletes.

📅 Hours vary dependent on the season, but expect a 4 day work week most weeks, weekday evenings, holiday combines, and some weekends and mornings, especially during summers and special events.

Responsibilities:
-Create and implement the program based on the yearly program design
-Coach youth of various ages and skill levels in a structured, efficient, and loud setting
-Open and set up building and training areas
-Track live attendance
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of training spaces
-Ability to run multiple programs at once in an organized way, command attention of a facility (not just a room)
-Troubleshoot and use technology
-Manage social media

Qualifications:
-Degree or background in Strength & Conditioning, Exercise Science, Coaching, or Education
-Experience with large youth groups or teams
-OHSAA coaching certification or equivalent
-Comfort working in a fast-paced, loud environment
-Physically able to move/transport equipment and stand for long periods
-Strong tech skills
-Ability to attend games and create social media content
-Strong research and data skills, keeps up on technology, theories, and best practices of the industry while pushing for “great”

💰 Pay is $40,000-$80,000 dependent on education level and years of successful experience coaching and training athletes of varying sports, ages, and ability levels efficiently and energetically.

Stefany has progressed from doing a bodyweight plank for 1:20 to 2:00, which is the point we start adding weight! In another week or two we will attempt this test again and see if we can add a little more weight!

How do you measure progress? We have a series of tests we cycle through at FIT groups to help you see your progress in cardiorespiratory endurance, speed, pushing and pulling muscular strength and endurance, leg muscular strength and endurance, abdominal and core muscular endurance, and anaerobic endurance.
