French Open Finals this weekend! It’s been an interesting tournament for sure. I think the Zverev/Cobolli final will be better than some believe. More interesting is the women’s final tomorrow! Andreeva vs the qualifier, Chwalinska!! Women tomorrow and Men on Sunday, both at 9am.

🎾🏆 Congratulations to all of the participants in our New Shrewsbury Racquet Club In-House 11 & Under Tennis Tournament this past weekend!

What an incredible weekend of tennis, fun, and friendship at NSRC! We are so proud of the tremendous effort, positive attitudes, and outstanding sportsmanship shown by all of our players throughout the event. Every participant competed hard, supported one another, and represented what junior tennis at NSRC is all about! 💙💛

From exciting matches on the court to pizza and laughs with friends afterward, everyone had a fantastic time! The future of tennis is bright, and we are so proud of all of our juniors for their effort, energy, and character throughout the tournament.

Another fantastic season is winding down! Seasonal court time will end the week of May 18th with a few exceptions! Make up date for Thanksgiving will be 5/28. Easter Sunday and a snow day will take Sunday up to June 7th. Monday also had snow days, two of them, so the last Monday will be June 8th. We are closed on Memorial Day! Call the club for dates pertaining to the junior program as those classes do run a little longer. Our Summer Season officially begins Monday June 1st. Hourly court time will drop to $30hr for tennis and $20hr for pickleball. Thank you to all our members for making this another wonderful season here at NSRC!!

🎾 New Shrewsbury Racquet Club Tournament Recap 🎾

This past weekend, New Shrewsbury Racquet Club proudly hosted a fantastic USTA 10 & Under Green Ball Tournament, showcasing the skill, determination, and sportsmanship of some outstanding young players.

🏆 Girls Champion
Prinilla Sanjit (Holmdel) defeated Anaisha Patel (Bridgewater)

🏆 Boys Champion
Stephan Stolyarchuk (Morristown) defeated Nicolas Ogunlowo (Roselle Park)

We commend all of our competitors for their hard work and competitive spirit throughout the weekend. Events like these highlight not only athletic development, but also the character and love for the game that we strive to foster at New Shrewsbury Racquet Club.
