Meet Coach Breanna Cerrentano - Fitness & Sports Performance Coach at Tenacity Performance Training.

Coach Bre started out her journey by being an athlete herself. She played travel softball to which she went on to play college softball at University of Dubuque. She then transferred to Saint Xavier University to continue her education. During this time, she was able to intern at St. Laurence High School in Burbank, IL where she was able to experience their Strength & Conditioning and Mental Performance programs. She was able to explore both areas of interest to her and learn the before, during, and the after of exercise and sports performance. Coach Bre plans to take these experiences and expand on them, building up her knowledge and creating new experiences for herself and especially for her clients.

Coach Bre received her B.S. in Sport and Exercise Science as well as her B.S. in Psychology from Saint Xavier University in 2025. She is certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Currently she is working to become a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sport Medicine (NASM). Coach Bre will be continuing her education at Springfield College through its online M.Ed in Sport and Exercise Psychology program.

Coach Bre has continued to find ways to stay active whether it be working out, taking walks, reading, or coaching travel softball.

Any day in the gym is a great day. Whatever your workout program of choice is, it will only work if you do it and do it consistently. It doesn’t have to be flashy. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be done.

Sometimes you get to the gym and you just know that the great workout you had planned to do just isn’t gonna happen. Instead of packing up your gear and heading back home, do some mobility work, foam rolling, and stretching. Something is better than nothing and your body will feel better afterwards. I certainly feel much better than I did when I first walked into the gym.

I’ve got a busy morning ahead of me with meetings, but my goal to give it another shot this afternoon 🤞🏽💪🏽. Have and make it a great day!
