The Noco Women’s Race Team is dedicated to providing a positive and safe environment for aspiring women cyclists to develop and mentor youth cyclists in Greeley, Colorado. We believe promoting cycling advocacy yields benefits in health and outlook for a lifetime. Our aims for this upcoming season are:
- Foster and build a women’s cycling team in Northern Colorado where there has not been one prev
iously.
- For team riders to gain points in USAC system. Higher rankings will gain the team entry into higher profile events, with more press and coverage for the team and its sponsors.
- To provide positive female role models for young riders, both girls and boys, in Weld County. There are few opportunities for youth to enter mountain, cyclocross, and/or road racing as of right now. We hope to volunteer as a team to teach clinics and take youth to races and on trips to mentor kids in cycling and pursuing their potential on bikes and in life.
