Yesterday was the Southern Showdown 75 lap race at Florence Speedway .Practice and Qualifying went good. 5th and 8th.
First 40 laps went well. Ended up 6th at the fuel break. Second half didn’t go as planned got tangled up with a few cars and had to restart 21st. Worked my way through the field and ended up 9th. Not a bad result. Car is good just a few things that need to be fixed. Next race Championship Weekend at Florence.

Well definitely not the ending we wanted. Racing in the B-main running 6th got together with another car and end up head on into the wall. Missed the tire barrier by a foot. Basically a racing incident. Driver is ok, little sore.
Now we need to figure out what’s next. We have a race next weekend at Florence. Try to get this car fix or rent/borrow one. Definitely will need some help one way or another. Thanks to Chad Johnson for helping to get the car back into the trailer.

Bigger picture though was honoring Kyle Busch and raising money for the Bundle of Joy fund in his honor. Please continue to donate.

Good night last night. Started 3rd in the race took the lead in a few laps. Held off 4 different restarts with 3 to go plus a few rain drops and finished 1st. Had a good car count. Hopefully things get worked out and the car count continues to grow. Back at it In a couple of weeks.
