Roxboro Motorsports Park announces new RMP Weather Guarantee

Roxboro, North Carolina (September 1, 2026)- Roxboro Motorsports Park is excited to announce the new RMP Weather Guarantee for the remaining 2026 season. The new weather guarantee policy states: “If in the event weather interferes with on-track racing before the completion of the 3rd round of competition in an individual class, RMP will give racers back their entire entry (including buybacks) in cash- no questions asked. If the 3rd round is completed in the individual class, the purse will be divided up evenly among the remaining competitors.”

“As racers, we all know Mother Nature can make us think twice before coming to a race,” Jody Williams stated. “We hope that this new guarantee will show racers our dedication to complete events, no matter how adverse the conditions may show.”

RMP has added several new events to the remainder of the 2026 season and this guarantee will be in effect at each event.

“We are excited to finish the season on a strong note and can’t wait to see everyone soon,” Williams explained.

Racers: You asked, we listened! Mark your calendars now for the the Inaugural Holiday Clash Series! 3 weekends, 6 races, new classes, new bonus programs with additional prize money, and a whole lot of family friendly fun! More information will be released in the coming days including a new and improved race schedule and payout structure!

TEAM FINALS UPDATE !!!

With everything that has been going on with IHRA and all its uncertainties, I started working on hosting part of our division here at Roxboro. It will be the same weekend as planned for Galot (Sept 30 - Oct 4).

Currently the event will have team RMP plus 6 other teams. Each of us will bring 35 members.

Gear jammers we will be taking 8 of you guys to race against 8 from Elk Creek. Once I finalize points I will start at the top and come down to find my 8.

Some have already reached out to let me know they would like to come. If you would like to be a part of our team please inbox me.
