After many discussions with helpful people, doctors and myself. I have decided to finish this year as an official in USA Boxing. Then I will retire from coaching and officiating.

I like this statement.
You see, you don't just get called coach as a title. It is something that is earned through effort BEYOND the event(s). Coach equates to mentor. Coach is caring beyond the pay grade.

My measured success is how satisfied you are with your gains, performances, and overall empowerment of my program. My success is based on your success, not on how many follow me or how much dinero I make. My success as a COACH is based on YOU becoming one, if you need to be

Year of the Dragon. 25 year in USA Boxing.
Signed back as coach, judge and clerk. Will do my best to be at shows, work on personal health. I will coach anyone interested in fitness boxing or competitive boxing in the Tillamook County area. Checking on space or buildings for a low rent. [Free is nicer.] Hopefully it can be a good year all around. Thanks.

USA Boxing Members,

At least every two years, the USA Boxing Rule Book is reviewed and revisions are made to better serve our boxers, coaches, officials, and physicians. The 2024 USA Boxing Rule Book is now available at https://www.usaboxing.org/usa-boxing-rulebook. The revised rule book goes into effect on January 1, 2024. A list of the changes/updates is also available on the website at that same link. We’d like to thank the R/J Committee, Coaches Committee, LBC Leaders, and staff for reviewing the previous version and their input. The revisions should help specify the rules.

***For Immediate Release - October 27, 2023. 9:30am ****
On October 26, 2023, Tillamook County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to a report of a deceased person floating in the Ghosthole area of Tillamook Bay.
A TCSO boat was launched and recovered the body. The deceased has been identified as Tommy A. White, 21, of Garibaldi. White was last seen on October 14, and reported missing on October 15, 2023. He was the subject of a comprehensive search of the area.
Next of kin have been notified, and according to investigators, no foul play is suspected in this incident. "This is a tragic event and our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. White's family and friends at this time," said TCSO Undersheriff Matt Kelly
**** FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — October 18, 2023, 1:30 pm ****

On October 15, 2023, the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible missing adult. Tommy A. White, 21, of Garibaldi, had left the family’s house distraught about personal matters the night before. Deputy Chris Rondeau and Deputy Mike Reeves began an investigation and search for Mr. White. Friends and family were contacted and a missing persons alert was broadcast to all police agencies in the region. The family put up posters and searched the area for Mr. White. Mr. White was last seen at the Garibaldi Chevron station at 10:15 pm.

Mr. White failed to show up for work early this week, and TCSO’s Deputies are increasing search efforts in the area. Please see attached posters for more information regarding a description of Tommy White. If you have seen him, or know of his whereabouts, please contact Deputy Chris Rondeau at 503-815-3379.
