Unfortunately, due to poor air quality, today's Sand Academy is CANCELLED. Your athletes' health and safety are our top priority, and the forecast doesn't show conditions improving this afternoon. 🥺

Our Blind Draw Tournament will now be held next Sunday. If you're not currently registered for next Sunday's session but would like to join us, send us a DM—we'd love to have you!

How Blind Draw works:
🏐 Each player is assigned a random number.
🏐 New numbers are drawn before every game, so you'll have a different partner and different opponents each round.
🏐 We'll play as many games as we can fit into our 2-hour session.
🏆 Prizes will be awarded to our top finishers!

It's one of our favorite events of the season and a great way to meet new teammates, play lots of volleyball, and have fun. We hope to see everyone next Sunday!

Some of our coaches had a great weekend competing at Sandlot Sports CR in the $8k AVPNext tournament. KCRG even noticed! 😍

Summer 2026 registration is a la carte--you choose the dates you can attend and pay accordingly. You do not need to sign up with a partner as everyone will play with everyone. There are 12 spots available per session. The 13th registration will go on a Wait List and we will contact you in order of original registration date/time stamp if a spot opens up.

All training sessions will be held at the City of Tiffin's new Sand Courts located at 100 S Park Rd, Tiffin, IA 52340. Most sessions will be on Sunday from 4-6pm with the exception of our first session which will be held on Saturday due to Father's Day on June 21st.

Summer 2026 registration is a la carte--you choose the dates you can attend and pay accordingly. You do not need to sign up with a partner as everyone will play with everyone. WE ARE SO CLOSE! Dates have been confirmed with the City of Tiffin and Summer 2026 Iowa Sand Academy Registration will be posted soon. So be on the lookout! 👀

ALSO are getting TONS of inquiries about Juniors Beach Tournaments. I am happy to report that the Iowa region offers beach volleyball tournaments for Girls/Boys 12U, 14U, 16U + 18U.

Here is a link to the Iowa Region tournaments: https://www.iowavbregion.org/beach-events. Players will register with a partner and play a sanctioned, 2vs2, USAV Beach Tournament. The top three finishers at those tournaments will qualify for USA Beach National Championships in Virginia Beach, VA July 13-18, 2026 (https://usavolleyball.org/event/2026-usa-volleyball-beach-national-championship/). USA Beach National Championships is a great opportunity to be seen by college beach volleyball coaches.
