Registration is open for the 2023 cross country season! You may register your athlete (youth up to 18) at the following link:

Once you register, you will receive an invite to Team Snap. All of our communication and schedule is posted on that portal.

The season will begin on August 14 at Woodsboro Park in Woodsboro, MD.

We look forward to a great season and even greater kids!

The Catoctin Youth Association Track and Field club would like to offer a summer track program for those kids interested in running through the summer as well as for those kids who intend to join CYA XC in the fall, or are going to high school and will be joining the high school XC team.

We are thinking that practices for the summer program would be on Monday and Friday evening. There will be several track and field meets during the summer put on by several clubs so there will be "live" events too for those interested.

Our first practice would be next week Monday evening, June 14 and we will go from then till August 20 as our XC program will begin on August 23.

So another week of "stay at home", another week of no practices. We will evaluate the situation next weekend. At this point, we are not willing to give up on the season. :-)

On Saturday, August 1, Ms. Emma Strickland competed in the AAU National Championship for track and field in Norfolk, VA. She competed in the Pentathlon.

On behalf of the entire 2015 CYA Track & Field team, we would personally like to commend "Wheels" for her effort, determination and dedication not only to the sport, but to herself on how hard she worked this summer to achieve the success she just realized.

In short, Emma worked her butt off!
