Our week 5️⃣ clinician is assistant coach, Cameron Hines! Tonight, June 24th in the Golden Bear Wrestling Facility from 5:00-6:30pm.

While at , Hines was ranked as high as 12th in the nation. He was the 2025 NCAA Region 1 Champion and qualified for the NCAA National Championships. He was a Scholar All American and achieved All Region honors twice in his career.

Great clinic today with one of the best to come out of Western MA, Antonio Ramos!

Antonio is currently competing at the Air Force Academy and just recently made the finals of the U23 Pan-American Championships for the second time.

In high school, Antonio was an NHSCA National Champion, a Massachusetts State Champion and placed 3rd at Prep Nationals while wrestling for Agawam High School and Northfield Mount Hermon.

Our week 3️⃣ clinician is assistant coach, Nicholas Arborio! Tomorrow, June 10th in the Golden Bear Wrestling Facility from 5:00-6:30pm.

Nicholas Arborio was named an assistant coach for the Western New England men’s wrestling team ahead of the 2022–2023 season. Arborio completed his career at WNE by placing 7th at the 2022 NCAA DIII National Championships becoming a two-time NCAA All-American, an NCAA Regional Champion and a three-time scholar All-American. Arborio finished his career with a record of 124-29.

Week 2 of our Golden Bear Summer Clinic series featured WNE Alumni, Coach Austin Monteiro. Austin earned NCAA All Region honors and was a two year captain for the Golden Bears! 🐻

The Golden Bear Summer Clinic series is located in the Wrestling Room of Western New England University and directed by Head Wrestling Coach, Mike Sugermeyer. Each week Coach Sugermeyer and his staff will cover techniques from all positions of wrestling that have been proven to be successful for his program for over a decade.
