Yesterday I had the Privilege to help Coach a team of Young Ladies in Wrestling. The Newbury Park High School Girls Wrestling Team had their First Meet Yesterday. One of the Biggest Reasons I was So Excited for this Girls Squad this Season is that I have Coached 2 of these Ladies since they were 5 Years Old.. They Came Out in their First Wrestling Meet of Their Lives as Freshman, Wrestling Varsity and One made it to The Finals and Placed 2nd, and the Other to the Semi Finals and Placed Third. Seeing their Parents Pride, The Other Coaches Disbelief at Their Success at their age, My complete Pride, Emotion and Excitement for Girls and of Course the Girls Relentless Efforts of 10 years on the Mats and Them Getting to See What I have Always Known and Seen… All I Can Say is WOW!!! Madison Black went to The Finals at The Pacifica Varsity Wrestling Meet in Her First High School Wrestling Meet and Placed 2nd and Maya Garza had to Wrestle up a division in weight and made it to the Semi Finals and placed Third in her First High School Wrestling Meet Ever… Your Futures are Boundless Ladies!!!!
