Lawson Swim Lessons

We are excited for swim lessons to start tomorrow and are hoping this weather cooperates - we will text as soon as we know something if the weather starts acting up. It looks like it is going to be pop up showers all week!!

A few things:
1. Thank you so much to those who sent their liability form - it helps Laura and I so much to be able to have them before lessons! If you haven't signed your liability form and sent to me, I would greatly appreciate if you can ASAP! It is VERY IMPORTANT that we have signed liability forms before swim lessons start. I have attached the blank copy. You can either text me (317/442-1774) or email ([email protected]) a signed form or sign one the first day of lessons. It is honestly a lot easier if you text or email because then it is all taken care of before lessons. Thanks so much in helping to get this done!
2. We are attaching the parking map again - it is very important that you ENTER on the side by the pool and EXIT on the other side. This helps with the flow of traffic. There is plenty of parking out by the barns and you can walk through the grass to get to the pool.
3. We repainted our deck a few weeks ago. Please do not move pool furniture - it scratches up the paint. We have umbrellas and if they are up, that means the wind isn't bad. If they aren't up, please don't put them up because the wind will break them. You are more than welcome to bring your own umbrella for shade.
4. If you need directions to the pool, please text Emily (317/442-1774). Google maps doesn't take you to where you need to be.

We are working on scheduling lessons for this summer! A few things:
1. For June: We still have a few openings during the day for swimmers who can swim the length of the pool. If you are interested, please text Laura (765/894-1547)

Thank you again for another great summer of swim lessons! We have taught kids to swim for 45 years and now are teaching generations which is always neat to see! It is amazing to see the growth of our swimmers from day one to day eight….they come so far and we couldn’t be more proud! We will post info about signing up for the summer 2026 session in the winter. Here are the dates if you want to mark on your calendar.
June Session: June 8 - June 17 (makeup days 6/18-6/19)
July Session: June 29 - July 2 and July 6 - July 9 (makeup days 7/10 & 7/13).

Happy July! We are excited to start another round of swim lessons next week.

Important Info for swim lessons for summer 2025!
1. If you haven’t signed a liability form, they are in the pool house. I have also attached and you can text or email it to me. I need to have a signed liability from every swimmer!! Please make sure you have signed a form before your child/ren lessons begin!
2. We have painted our pool deck and want to keep it looking as nice as long as we can! Please keep chairs where they are around the pool deck and on the gravel so we don’t scuff up the deck by moving them around.
3. Our last beloved shade tree had to be taken down! We have a tent up to provide as much shade as we can but if you feel like you want to bring an umbrella for shade, you are more than welcome to do that! We aren’t using some of the other umbrellas this year because they just don’t hold up in the wind.
4. Please make sure you are parking in the correct spots (see map) and have your child/ren with you at all times. You will enter on the west side (closest to the pool) and exit on the east side. This will help with the flow of traffic. This is a very busy place and we want to make sure that all little ones are with an adult when walking
to and from their vehicle.
5. If we have to cancel lessons because of weather, we will ALWAYS text. It looks like we should have good weather for this session!
