Skyview Girls Basketball excels on and off the floor.

Many people try to browbeat Skyview Girls Basketball from the outside, but they have no idea the dedication these young ladies give every single day — in the classroom, in practice, in games, and in life.

Our job as coaches is bigger than basketball. It is to prepare them for the next level in life. That starts with standards. It starts with accountability. It starts with discipline, commitment, and pride in doing things the right way.

And for those who may not know — varsity freshmen and sophomores are not eligible for these honors under CHSAA rules, as the official recognition is limited to juniors and seniors.

But that does not mean we ignore the standard they achieved.

We will recognize it.

Because at Skyview, standards matter. Growth matters. Excellence matters.

These young ladies continue to prove who they are.

They compete on the floor.
They excel off the floor.
They represent the Wolverine Standard.

To play here. To stay here. To grow here. To lead here.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Skyview Basketball moms, alumni moms, grandmas, guardians, stepmoms, and every woman who has helped raise, guide, support, and love one of our players along the way.

Today is about celebrating all forms of motherhood and the people who step into those roles every single day — whether by blood, by choice, by sacrifice, or simply by showing up when it matters most.

To those spending today with your moms, honoring their memory, celebrating yourselves as mothers, or recognizing the women who helped shape your life — we appreciate you more than words can say.

Thank you for the rides, the late nights, the sacrifices, the encouragement, the tough love, the belief, and the countless moments behind the scenes that help build strong young women.

Our program is stronger because of you.

Wins, league titles, playoff runs, awards… they come and go. If that’s all it is, it fades.

Most people couldn’t tell you my record—and we are good with that. But they know we will show up for their kids.

No one cares what you know until they know how much you care. For us, it’s about helping them get to the next level in life.
