It’s time to kick off the CrossFit Open season with a bang! 🎉 Join us Thursday, 2/27 at 6:30 PM for the Eminence Open Throwdown, where Jon, Nor, Angel, and Kat will throw down in Open Workout 25.1 to set the tone for the season!

What a night to remember!

Last night, we came together to celebrate an incredible 2024 at the Eminence Gala with the best community we could ask for. From heartfelt conversations to shared laughs, we reflected on the achievements, sweat, and victories that brought us closer as a family this past year.

Here are some of our member's biggest achievements in 2024:

Total Weight Lost: 248.70lbs
We had 28 members actively work on their nutrition through the year in our Eminence Nutrition Program. Our average weight loss was 13.1 lbs per person! We saw some amazing transformations this year!

Personal Records: Our members achieved 262 personal records since May! We even had 8 individuals with more than 10 PRs! They experienced Personal Records in their barbell lifts, gymnastic volumes, and workout performance!

We also experienced some records in class attendance and workouts logged in 2024! Such and amazing year for us!

To our amazing members, coaches, and supporters: YOU are what makes CrossFit Eminence so special. Thank you for your energy, commitment, and passion. Here's to making 2025 even more epic!

Good luck to the Eminence Barbell Club Olympic Weightlifting Team this weekend! We have 13 athletes competing in the Colorado State Championships at Pinnacle Weightlifting.

On Sunday Nick, Tony, and Ryan start at 11:01 (offsite), Chelsea at 11:21, and Taylor at 11:41.

Event #7 will be at 1/1:10 for Nick Tony and Ryan, 1:20/1:30 for Chelsea, and 1:40/1:50 for Taylor.

Here’s why incorporating steady-state cardio into your routine is a game-changer:

🔥 Improved Endurance: Steady-state cardio helps increase aerobic capacity, allowing you to recover faster between sets and sustain effort longer in your WODs.

❤️ Heart Health: Regular, low-intensity cardio strengthens your heart, making it more efficient and improving circulation. A stronger heart = better performance!

🧠 Mental Toughness: Long, consistent cardio sessions build grit and mental stamina—key traits for grinding through those longer AMRAPs and hero WODs.

🔋 Active Recovery: It’s a great way to promote blood flow, flush out toxins, and speed up recovery without putting extra strain on your muscles.
