As some know, funkifying exercises is one of my favorite things to do in the world of personal training. Here is an awesome Bird Dog variation; a lot of my clients tell me they feel little to no core engagement doing the conventional BD so first we began with doing a BD but I queue’d them to leave the extended foot/arm on the floor(focusing on alignment & manual core engagement only in this position). From there we upgraded to the BD progression seen here, elevating one half of your body only(foot + leg), with some band resistance 💪😎
I like to do these aiming to complete 3-5 reps per side, with a 10 second hold each rep.
