You'll have days like this!

The Motor City 125 at Flat Rock Speedway ultimately did not have the outcome we wanted. It definitely was not due to lack of effort or focus from Carson Brown and the entire ACR team.

Carson qualified sixth and drew the seventh starting spot. Unfortunately, Carson got in a bit high, caught some marbles and impacted the wall. The team worked to get the 81 back in shape, but lost a lap in the process and the car just wasn't happy at all, after that.

Rather than chance further damage, we elected to retire early. Thank you to all of our families, fans and sponsors for your continued support.

Overall, another fantastic effort from Carson Brown and the entire team at the ASA STARS National Tour Tar Heel 250. Weather was a factor all day, which put a few different strategies at play. Another round of rain showers missed the track, later in the race.

Four new tires vs. two new tires in the final stage was one of the byproducts. In the end, a few restarts in the final ten laps and the 81 came up one spot short after dominating the race.
