GVSU Ski and Snowboard Club

GVSU Ski and Snowboard Club We are the GVSU ski and snowboard club Welcome to the GVSU Ski and Snowboard Team! If you love winter and skiing or snowboarding, this club is for you!

The team travels about 5 weekends each season starting in January. We go to places like Crystal Mountain, Boyne Mountain, Otsego Ski Club, Boyne Highlands, and Marquette Mountain. Each trip, there are races through United States Collegiate Snowsports Association on Saturday and Sunday for both skiing and snowboarding. These are only as competitive as you make it. The races take place in the morning, so the rest of the time is free ski or whatever you choose!

We had such an amazing time up in Marquette this past weekend for regionals! Our women’s snowboard team placed second overall, and Payton Sloat placed second in BorderX! Couldn’t be more proud of this team and all we’ve accomplished this year. Next up: Ski Prom!
