THS Cheer is preparing for another exciting season, and we are currently looking for businesses to sponsor our program this year!

As we can now officially close out the 2025–2026 basketball season, we can truly say this year was a unique and special one we wouldn’t trade for anything.

Thank you, ladies, for showing up and giving your absolute best, for the squad, the team, and the community. We truly enjoyed each and every one of you this year.

To our seniors, we wish you nothing but the best. Keep striving, keep pushing, and continue to be great in everything you do. We are proud of each and every one of you. This isn’t the end, just the beginning.

📣 THS Cheerleading Tryouts Information

If you’re planning to try out for THS Cheer, make sure you attend the Cheer Clinic where you will learn the cheers, chants, and dance required for tryouts.

📅 Cheer Clinic:
April 13–15
⏰ 3:30–5:30 PM
📍 New THS Gym

⭐ Tryouts:
April 16
⏰ 3:30 PM until finished
📍 New THS Gym

Make sure you have:
✔️ Filled out your schedule form
✔️ Received and completed a tryout packet from Coach B.
✔️ Turned in your packet by April 3rd (MPMS: may turn into Coach Engram)

❗ We will not accept late applications.
❗ You must have an active physical on file before trying out.

🎀 Senior Spotlight: THS Cheer Class of 2026 🎀
From middle school mats to Friday night lights, these girls have been cheering for Thomasville City Schools for years and last night, they cheered their last official home game of the season as THS Bulldogs. ❤️🐾

We are so proud of each of you. As you prepare for the next chapter, we look forward to seeing all the great things you’ll do in your future endeavors.
Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog. ❤️💛

✨Senior Spotlight✨ Hey! My name is Madison Clark and cheer has been such a huge part of my life. I have been on the team for 4 years and it has given me so many incredible memories and friendships that I’ll never forget. One of my favorite things about cheer is making the run-throughs because it creates a space for everyone coming together to paint, sing, and create something that represents our team spirit. I also love the little moments outside of practice things like carpooling to games and events. Now that I can drive to me it’s so much fun getting to take the younger girls with me we sing and laugh and those small moments are so special to me. Another great thing that i was able to do was going to sell tattoos at the elementary schools! i enjoyed getting to sell them the first to years at Scott with my teammates and the last two at Jerger. Getting to experience that blessed me with so many little ones who i love so much! Moments like those remind me how much cheer has helped me grow, not just as a teammate, but also as a person, giving me confidence, leadership, and a sense of belonging that I’ll always carry with me moving forward in life!

✨Senior Spotlight✨ My name is Kyli Alexander, and I’ve been a Varsity Cheerleader for 4 years. Cheering has been such a huge part of my life. I’ve been a cheerleader since 7th grade and I love everything about it. From the bonds I’ve made with my teammates, the bus rides, the excitement of the games, supporting the team, mini cheer-camp and even paint practice it’s all been so special to me. Knowing this is my last year makes me really emotional because I’m leaving behind not only the memories but also the amazing people I’ve grown so close to. Cheer has given me friendships, new sisters and lifelong experiences that I’ll carry with me forever. I’ve loved cheering for as long as i can remember and THS cheerleading will forever hold a special place in my heart.

✨Senior Spotlight✨ Hey, my name is Abby Kennedy and I’ve been on the varsity cheer team for 4 years. My favorite thing about cheer is building friendships and having something to look forward to throughout the week and my favorite memory is getting to laugh on the sidelines with my friends. My favorite tradition is selling tattoos at Jerger on Friday mornings. My future plan is to go to school to be a radiation therapist. I will miss all of the girls I’ve cheered with and hope to make the best of the rest of the season!
