Open Mat and FREE DRINKS!!!

Saturday, June 27th, 1441 JiuJitsu is partnering with Williams Painting for a morning of rolls and refreshments!

Open Mat starts at 9:00 AM

7 Brew will be stopping by at 10:00 AM with hot and cold coffees, energy drinks, lemonades, and teas.

Come get some rounds in, or just swing by for the beverages and community.

They have PLENTY of drinks to give away, so please let us know you're coming; and we'll make sure to deliver!

Loyalty.

These are some of the characteristics that define a good man; and these can most certainly be used to describe Kyle.

Kyle has trained with us under the carport, in below freezing temps, with snow piled next to the mat.

He trained with us in driveway, in the summer, when the sun made the mats so hot you could barely walk on them.

He trained with us in the basement, sometimes crammed in with many others, sometimes with rain splashing in from the opened doors.

Kyle has never cared whether class will have 20 people, or only himself attending on a given day... Whether it's morning or evening, cold or hot, weekday or weekend... Kyle is going to be there.

After almost 2 years of hard work, dedication, loyalty, consistency, and resolve...

Kyle has EARNED his Blue Belt!!!

Both of these promotions go beyond "well deserved" and into the category of UNDENIABLE.

Mr Ronnie has been training with us since the basement/driveway days. He has always been an inspiration and a great contributor to the overall culture of our gym. From STARTING jiu jitsu in his 60's, consistently putting in work on the mats, to recently competing in an age bracket 20 years younger than him (and winning GOLD🥇)... Mr Ronnie is an absolute unit and a PILLAR of the 1441 family.

Hunter has also been training with us since the early days. He is a great example of what it means to be a Purple Belt - he has a well rounded, efficient, technical game; a genuine love for the art; perseverance; and he sets a good example within the gym, always looking out for the best interest of his training partners.
Receiving the Purple Belt in Jiu Jitsu is a HUGE honor and accomplishment. Hunter has earned this promotion by making himself absolutely undeniable. We are proud to have him as a member of 1441.
