What a FUNtastic Summer we’ve had at C.A.M.P.☀️ They say time flies when you’re having fun and I honestly can not believe we have to post this, but here we are already.. With our last week of Summer C.A.M.P. ahead, that means ‘Back-to-School’ is right around the corner, and so is the need for after-school care! We have a few openings in our After School C.A.M.P. that focuses on the arts, and we’d love to add a few more kids!! If you know an imaginative kiddo who would benefit from an inspiring, nurturing, and creative environment, this is the place to be!!! Don’t settle for less because it’s what you’re used to.. How great for local kids who dance.. This new dance store in Thomaston highlights a dancer then gives them discounts and coupons to the store during the month they’re being highlighted!!! The store seems like such a great little addition to the community❤️

To anyone who has allowed us to spend time with your children here at School of the Arts(dance n art for my og’s)This picture is a token of our appreciation to you! It’s quiet in here right now no screaming or laughing or big plans being made, plotting of the next good hiding spot or complains of needing a snack…Nope, the only noise is me sighing at every mess I pick up from the day’s adventures completed 🤪 As I grumble along my eye catches something wonderful, something I see a thousand times a week. I stop and pause for a minute and gaze at it, I realize as I see all the perfectly missed brush strokes all the wonderful colors and hues that have overtaken this once simply plain object. The stickey glues and resins hardened, plaster encrusted with the sparkling of glitter. I realize how amazing and priceless of a piece of art this table has become. So many beautiful imaginations have touched this table, the creative creations that have been created with the help of this table… I think even Picasso would be happy to look at it because as he quoted “Every child is an Artist”. It’s had a lot of your kiddos hands hard at work at it. I have to think how lucky I am to be able to see something as beautiful as this! We are so proud of all the work that has come off this table and the little minds that have grown by expressing their creative side at it. It may just look like a messy table to others but to us it’s a masterpiece in progress! Thank you parents from the bottom of our hearts for your support of our little program❤️ Mr. J

⭐️ Come and join us for our Spring Dance and Theatre Session starting February 3rd!!! Our show, ‘Five-ish Minute Fairy Tales’ will be a retelling of 5 short stories: Little Red Riding Hood 🐺, The Golden Goose🪿, Rapunzel 💇‍♀️, Hansel & Gretel 🍭and The Ugly Duckling 🦢 Our performance will be held Sunday, May 18th at MVHS. We are inviting kids who like to act 🎭dance 👯‍♀️ sing 🎤 and prop build🔨 to join us in bringing this show to life. If you have a child (or know one) who’d like to shine on that stage, sign them up today!!!⭐️
