We're officially re-krewe-ting for Y'Allstars 2027! If you're ready to don your stripes or rock a clipboard this February in Thibodaux, we want to hear from you!

Applications for referees and NSOs will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a hard deadline of 11/9/26.

New to this year: we will be awarding stipends to 2 officials (1 SO and 1 NSO) who are working to further representation, equity and inclusivity within the sport. More details on that coming very soon!

Y’Allstars would like to express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of General Hellativity.

A skating official from Ithaca, NY, General Hellativity was a part of the inaugural Y’Allstars Southern Skate Showdown in 2023 and returned to officiate in 2024 and 2025. He was extremely helpful with mentoring new skating officials who participated in the tournament and was dedicated to supporting his fellow officials. He will be missed by Y’Allstars and those who have officiated with him.

Calling all Louisiana youth artists! We are in need of a fresh design for our 2027 official tournament tee and we need your help.

Are you a Louisiana student enrolled in a traditional, parochial, charter, homeschool, online school or GED program? Do you have an eye for style and a talent for the arts?

Submit your artwork for our second consecutive T-shirt design contest. We are looking for designs that celebrate the sport of roller derby through the lens of Louisiana culture and traditions. The winning designer will receive 2 weekend passes to Y’Allstars 2027 and have their design transformed onto a tournament tee, receive one of those tees for free, as well as social media mentions and a showcase of their artwork at the tournament.

Submissions are due by Friday, November 20th. All entries will be reviewed and scored by our judging panel and the top 10 designs will advance to a public voting period on our page in December.
