The morning was full of action with some nice speckled trout making their way into the box. A bonus bull red for one of the guys was a pretty good way to top it all off!

Another great morning on the water with plenty of action and some more nice speckled trout making their way into the box. Good fishing, good people, and another great day in Dularge!

☀️ SUMMER RECAP 🎣

It’s been one heck of a summer at Du’ South Fishing Charters!

We’ve had the opportunity to fish with hundreds of anglers, including returning customers, first-time guests, families, corporate groups, large multi-boat crews and folks who traveled from all over the country to experience South Louisiana fishing.

We’ve battled wind, storms, heat and tough bites—but we’ve also had some incredible trout bites, big redfish, beautiful mornings and plenty of limits hitting the dock.

Most importantly, we’ve had the privilege of spending our days with some damn good people.

This photo dump is just a small look at what the summer has looked like from the boat.

Thank you to every customer who booked a trip, every captain who helped put groups on the water, every person who referred us, and everyone who continues to support Du’ South Fishing Charters.

I had the pleasure of helping out my good buddy, Capt. Shawn P., with this group, and these guys had an epic morning catching some beautiful speckled trout!

Great fishing, great people, and plenty of fish hitting the box made for an awesome first day.

Bruce and Cade were back down for a little fishing getaway before school started back up! 🎣

It had been a while since their last trip, but the fishing picked up right where they left off. The guys enjoyed a great morning catching speckled trout and making the most of their time on the Louisiana coast.

There’s nothing better than seeing familiar customers return and picking up right where you left off.

Gainnie Lumber was back in town, and you already know what that means—it’s going to be a good time! 🎣

This trip was a little extra special with my neighbor, Spanky, and his son, Mason, joining the crew.

The trout were chewing, and we stayed busy all morning catching a boatload of fish and sorting through plenty of throwbacks. There wasn’t much idle time as the crew kept working to put quality speckled trout in the box.

A great crew, plenty of action, and some familiar faces made for another awesome morning on the Louisiana coast.

Not every trip is easy—and that’s part of fishing! 🎣

This crew had to grind one out with us, but they never let the slower fishing take away from the experience. They kept at it, enjoyed the day, and made the most of their time on the water.

Sometimes the most memorable trips aren’t the ones where everything goes perfectly. It’s the ones where you keep working, keep laughing, and enjoy the day regardless.
