Fishing is good! May and June some of the best months for trout & reds!

Fished with David & Jeannie Howell who wanted to target trout. Arriving at our first stop just before sunup we found the trout feeding fast & furious but just about every fish was 11-11 1/2 inches . Didn’t matter what lure you were using as the fish were eating up everything in sight. Lots of action but not much meat in the box. We made a few moves with more of the same and picked away at the fish in various locations.
Called it quits around noon after taking the couple to catch a bunch of reds and drum. Good luck fishing.

My crew from Houston, Tx drove in for some great redfish action. Glad to have the guys back with us after rescheduling due to Covid and Ida. They wanted big reds and it was hard not to catch them as they were everywhere! Probably caught 50 plus fish the first day along with drum and trout as lagniappe. Big thanks to Capts Alden and Brady for helping out with the 7 man crew. October is such a great month to be on the water. Good luck fishing.

Florida crew enjoyed their 2 days fishing lower Bayou Dularge! If it has fins and swims in Dularge they caught it the past two days! Cold front made for some tough conditions but this crew never quits!! Great guys to spend some time with doing what we all like to do!! See you in May 2023!Big thanks to Capts Alden and Andy for taking great care of the guys!Good luck fishing.

Stan Rucker and crew from Arkansas drove in to tackle the south Louisiana redfish. Cold front put a damper on the fishing with stiff north winds and strong tides. It was a slower bite than we’ve been experiencing the past few weeks. The guys made the best of the situation and caught some nice fish. Big thanks to Capt Alden for his help with the crew. Day 1 with Ernest Green and crew from north Louisiana kept Chris and I busy baiting lines and netting fish. Crazy fast and furious action as the guys couldn’t believe how the reds were so aggressive.
The tide was at a standstill with no movement at all and the reds ate up like no tomorrow. Right place at the right time I assume as we usually don’t do much without tide movement. Gotta go to know. Good luck fishing.
