What a gift it is to harvest the animals we love, surrounded by the people who bring us joy. Grateful for time in the woods and fields with family and friends, filling the freezers and the soul.

PSALMS 23:1-3
“The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.”
Most often quoted for its 4th verse, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me”, Psalms 23 is a stark reminder that the Lord is always with us…especially in his creation!
Every hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman knows how peaceful a morning in His creation is. It replenishes our soul and the beauty of the creation is a testament to our God!
