✨ What I wore last week… 👗

A little weekly outfit recap because sometimes the easiest style inspiration is simply seeing how someone actually gets dressed in real life!

From work at Anthropologie to everyday errands and everything in between, these were a few of my favorite looks from the week. 💕

I’m all about outfits that feel put-together without feeling overdone—pieces that are comfortable, flattering, and easy to mix and match.

And yes, there’s always a little color involved. 😉🎨

Apparently, white has a Labor Day expiration date. 😂🤍

Except…it doesn’t.

The “no white after Labor Day” rule is an old fashion convention rooted in the way wealthy Americans dressed for summer leisure and returned to city life in the early 1900s. Somewhere along the way, it became one of those fashion “rules” we kept repeating long after the original reason disappeared.

Today? Wear the white.

Just make it feel seasonal.

Think chunky knits, suede, boots, darker denim, rich accessories, layering and beautiful fall textures.

And here’s the part I really want you to remember:

The best white for you may not actually be bright white.

Your color season can tell you whether you shine in crisp white, softer cool whites, ivory, cream, ecru or other warmer variations.

So yes—wear white after Labor Day.

Just make sure it’s your white. 🤍
