3-Ingredient Plant-Based Protein Cookies 🍪

These are seriously so good, and you definitely don’t need to be a master chef to make them. If you have kids or grandkids, they’ll probably love them too.

I like to prep a batch on Sunday so they’re ready for the week. Have 1–2 depending on your macros.

Ingredients:

* 5 ripe bananas
* 5 scoops chocolate plant-based protein powder
* 1 cup oats

Optional: cacao nibs, chopped pecans, pinch of salt

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F.

Mash the bananas in a bowl, add the protein powder and mix well. Add the oats and mix again.

Form into about 10–12 cookies, then top with cacao nibs, pecans and a little salt if you like.

Bake until set and lightly golden.

Depending on your protein powder and the size of the cookies, you’ll get roughly 10g of protein per cookie.

If you’re over 40, plant based, eating healthy, working out… and still frustrated with your stomach, this is for you.

You probably don’t need to try harder.

You need to look at what is actually influencing your body composition now: muscle, recovery, food quality, portions, digestion, hormones, training progression, and consistency over time.

You can eat clean.
You can exercise.
You can hit your protein.
And still not be giving your body what it needs to actually lean out and build muscle.

And no single supplement or BHRT protocol is going to do all of that for you.

BHRT and supplements can absolutely be helpful when they’re appropriate, but they work best as part of a bigger picture. Your nutrition, training, sleep, stress, digestion and overall health still matter in perimenopause or post menopause.

You have to look deeper than one hormone or one pill.

That’s exactly why I created my free Plant-Based Reset Guide.

Comment “𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐓” and I’ll send it to you.

This is our lovely student Tiffany, 58 and postmenopausal.

For most of her life, weight was never really something she struggled with. Then in her 50s, things changed. Her clothes stopped fitting, her energy dropped, she needed naps, and what used to work for her wasn’t working anymore.

So we adjusted her nutrition and strength training to match where her body is now and taught her how to make this something she can actually maintain.

Now she has more energy, sleeps better, feels stronger, more confident, more in control, and she can go out for dinner without feeling like she ruined everything.

That’s the part I love most. It became a lifestyle, not another diet.

Your 50s and 60s are not the end of feeling strong, lean and confident in your body. You just need to know what needs to change.

If you’re in peri or postmenopause and feel like your body stopped responding, message me “NEXT” and let’s talk.

It’s been 4 years since I moved from Miami to Texas, and more than 20 years since I left France for the U.S. 🇫🇷🇺🇸

And I freaking love it here.

We live in The Woodlands, and the lifestyle is completely different from Miami. It’s slower, more peaceful, people are incredibly warm, there’s always something to do, and we’re much closer to my husband’s family in Louisiana.

The only thing I’m still not sold on is the Texas summer 😂

But honestly, living in the U.S. was always a dream of mine.

When I was 10 years old, I saw a famous hairstylist in America and decided that was it. I wanted to become a hairstylist so one day I could move to the States.

Pretty much everyone thought I was crazy, especially my dad who is a very successful lawyer in France and wanted me to choose a more traditional career.

But at 23, I left France with about $10,000 in savings, left a comfortable life in Monaco, left my boyfriend, and moved to Miami anyway.

Within a month, I had started building my clientele and eventually became one of the top hairstylists in Key Biscayne Florida.

Years later, my husband and I were close to buying a salon, but something in me knew that wasn’t the life I wanted anymore.

I had become obsessed with nutrition and fitness because of my own struggles, and I started helping my salon clients with what I was learning. Eventually, I went back to school and completely changed careers to become a nutritionist and women’s fitness coach, now menopause coaching specialist.

That’s one of the things I love most about living in America.

You can reinvent yourself.

You can have one career, build something successful, and decide you want something completely different.

For me, that became AZFIT Academy.

Looking back, I’m so glad I trusted myself at 23, even when almost everyone around me thought I was making a mistake.

Sometimes the dream that makes the least sense to everyone else ends up making the most sense for your life.
