The Woodlands Karate and MMA offers programs in Tang Soo Do and Mixed Martial Arts. Our kids and adult martial arts programs have taken the older traditions of Tang Soo Do and combined them with modern day self-defense and kickboxing training. We teach martial arts as a complete discipline, in a highly motivated and fun atmosphere. This helps build self-esteem and confidence in our students while

forming high individual standards of behavior. Our mixed martial arts program pulls techniques from kickboxing, no-gi grappling, and wrestling. The system also incorporates stand up self-defense against empty hand and weapon handed attacks.

Oh my goodness! What a weekend! We started discussing a "Karate school camping" trip in April. We picked this weekend and then watched the record heat and burn bans during the summer. We kept thinking surely by Oct things will be better. By the last week of September it was still hot and dry. Then this week we got rain and a cold front. The Burn ban was lifted and we had the absolutely best camping weather! We played, canoed, hiked and ate! Our only regret is we didn't get everyone in the group picture.
