WHAT DOES THE PROCESS ENTAIL
You must complete three days of softball evaluations with six months of your first evaluation. Each evaluation takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the number of participants.
You will be given a brief senior softball rules overview, take ground balls or fly balls depending on the position(s) you wish to evaluate for, hit softballs, and be asked to run from home to second to evaluate your running.
UPON COMPLETION WHAT HAPPENS
You will be assigned to one of the five men's or three women's divisions based on your evaluation results. You will be placed in the division that best fits your softball playing ability.
Once you have successfully completed your evaluations you will be eligible to sign up as substitutes in your respective recreation and neighborhood leagues immediately.
For their initial season, players must sign up for the league they are evaluated for. They will be eligible to enter the next season’s draft as a full-time player. Players may move up or down one league after their initial season.
Players who have not played in 3 calendar years must attend a Re-Evaluation before signing up to play.
