Getting a good hamstring stretch is important. Not only does it help with circulation, it can also helps ease lower back pain. I like to lie on the floor with my feet up the wall to get a good stretch in while keeping my back in a comfortable and neutral position on the floor. This actually allows you to get deeper into the stretch because you can stay there longer and more comfortably. I am currently modifying with only one leg up due to a recent surgery on my left hip labrum.
