Who remembers Wilson Fat Shaft irons?

A Fat Shaft 1 iron just showed up on a trade, and Harrison had never seen one in person. Wilson’s big idea in the late ’90s was a wider tip on the shaft to cut down on twist at impact, and the look was impossible to miss. Of course Harrison had to take it to the bay and see if a 1 iron from that era still has anything left in it.

Not many Onset Center Circle T's out there. This 11R features the 11 shape with softer, rounder edges.

A Tour Van fitting without leaving your house?

Welcome to Fit Pack of the Week. 2nd Swing Master Fitter Brady Falk opens up a Virtual Tour Van Fitting pack and explains what's inside and why.

This week's golfer is fighting a low left miss. When that shot comes off with too little spin, it has nothing to hold it up, so it dives and runs. Brady's goal is to raise his spin floor so the miss stays in play.

A golfer's ball flight is too high. As a fitter, what's your first move: take loft off, or move weight forward in the head?

For Harrison Arnold, it's CG every time. Sliding weight forward is the simplest adjustment that can make a big difference, and it doesn't change anything about how the club sits at address. Loft changes come next. If neither gets the numbers where they need to be, it's time to try a different head entirely.

That's where experience with a huge inventory pays off. When he needs to get spin down while keeping some forgiveness at a good price, one club comes to mind right away: the Callaway Rogue ST Max LS.

Same swing. Same club. 3,000 RPM difference.

Nobody hits every fairway, not even on Tour. And when you're in the rough, grass gets trapped between the clubface and the ball. Spin drops, launch changes, and carry distance becomes a guessing game.

So the real question isn't how to avoid the rough. It's which club gives you the most predictable result when you're in it.

We took a 4 Iron, a 5 Hybrid, and a 9 Wood out on the course and put them head to head from both the fairway and the rough.
