City Island Rowing’s mission is “to provide uncompromising opportunities for athletes to achieve their full potential in the sport of rowing”. City Island Rowing is well placed to prepare athletes as they pursue the pinnacle of their sport, including Junior and U23 National Team representation. All athletes can count on full support and guidance through the college recruiting process.

From "I’ve never done this" to "Watch me." 🚣‍♀️✨
This summer, we’re trading the sidelines for the water. Our Learn to Row program is designed specifically for girls ages 12–16 who are ready to discover what they’re truly capable of.
Whether you’re looking for a new challenge or the "sweet spot" sport before starting high school, CIR is where it starts.
No experience? No problem. We provide the elite coaching, the specialized equipment, and the best community to get you moving fast.
