At our Castle Hill Clubhouse, the Teen Expansion Program is giving young people a place to connect, grow, and enjoy a sense of freedom and independence—without having to leave the neighborhood they call home.

It’s a space where teens can be themselves, build friendships, explore their interests, and know there’s a community supporting them along the way.

Because sometimes, what teens need most is simply a space of their own. 💙

🎙️ KB News: Learning to understand what we feel. 💙

Through our Emotional Awareness Program, Kips Bay members are learning how to identify and understand their emotions—and build healthy tools for managing them when those feelings become difficult.

The program’s creators, Nilsa and Imelda, also provide one-on-one and group counseling, creating a safe space where our young people know they have someone to listen, support, and walk alongside them.

Because helping kids grow isn’t only about what they learn—it’s also about helping them understand themselves. 💙

At the heart of this event has always been community—families coming together, neighbors connecting, kids being celebrated, and organizations throughout the Bronx showing up for one another.

We’re grateful for every person who helped make Day for Kids 2026 such a special reflection of that spirit. Day for Kids is always about having fun—but it’s also about showing up for the families and community around us.

This year, the JRM Foundation and Jazmeene Foundation joined us to do exactly that, providing families with free back-to-school supplies, food, haircuts, and resources to help our young people start the school year strong. 🎒✂️
