Star Valley Half Marathon

Star Valley Half Marathon Star Valley Half Marathon in honor of Jeremy Kunz This is the first half marathon run in Star Valley. It was started to celebrate the life of Jeremy Kunz.

It is beautiful course begins in the Bridger National Forest. You’ll run the first 2 miles down a road lined with trees and breathtaking mountain scenes. The rest of the course winds through the beautiful, rolling farm lands of Turnerville, Bedford, and ending in Thayne at the elementary school.

Packet pickup is on Friday July 10th from 6-8pm at Thayne Elementary School 304 Meyers Street (race finish line).  You will get your bib #, safety pins for your bib, Tshirt and swag bag.  We will be there to help you and get you all ready for race day!  
 
If you are not able to come on Friday, you can pick up your bib, tshirt, and swag on Saturday starting at 5:15am at the same location.  Buses leave at 6:15am for half and 7am for 5k so give yourself enough time to get your things before the bus leaves!

Packing for the half marathon:
1- a couple of ideas for little bags to run with 2- water bottle, Gatorade 3- advil, Tylenol, electrolytes 4- candies 5- AirPods 6- shoes to wear after the race 7- warm pants and sweatshirt to wear at start line 8- race outfit 9- this is the swag bag you will get on Friday at packet pickup. Take this swag bag with you on the bus and use it to put your sweatshirt and other items you don’t want to run with. We will transport all swag bags to the finish line for you to pick up. Make sure your swag bag has your bib # written on it! What do you pack for race day?
