Israel Adesanya moves to a perfect 20-0 with his 2nd round tko victory over Paulo Costa! Izzy was crisp and clean as he picked Costa apart through the 1st round. Focusing on a lot of lead leg kicks. As the 2nd round started Costa seemed to want to engage more as to not get picked apart from the outside. It was a left hooked that dropped Costa and then ground and pound to finish much like the Robert Whittaker fight! Earlier on, Jan Blachowicz defeated Dominic Reyes with a 2nd round tko. Left hand right on the button. Very similar to his finish against Rockhold.

UFC 247 is a wrap! Derrick Lewis gets the unanimous decision victory, Valentina Shevchenko picks apart Katlyn Chookagian for the tko win via crucifix/ground and pound, and Jon Jones wins a unanimous decision over Dominick Reyes to remain Light Heavyweight Champion!

Dana White is eyeing a matchup between UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman and BMF Champion Jorge Masvidal in July during International Fight Week! This is a great matchup with each guy having an edge in different categories. Jorge has the better boxing but Kamaru carries more power. On the ground, Kamaru has the wrestling/ground and pound advantage but Jorge has the jiu jitsu advantage. This has all the right ingredients to be a great fight! Looking forward to it!

Top Rank Boxing promoter Bob Arum wants to make a 2-fight deal, with UFC President Dana White, where Conor McGregor would fight Terrance Crawford. The first fight would be under mma rules and the 2nd would be boxing rules. This is interesting because Terrance Crawford has a wrestling background. As a fan of both sports, it would be cool to see a crossover that goes both ways and gives each fighter a chance in their own sport. What do you think? Comment below!

Conor McGregor defeats Donald Cerrone just :40 seconds into round number 1 to cement his return to the welterweight division! Conor came out and landed a knee early followed by shoulder strikes to the face of Donald Cerrone. A few solid shots dropped Cerrone and McGregor finished the fight via tko.

Robert Whittaker is out of his scheduled UFC 248 bout against Jared Cannonier. "Undisclosed personal reasons" were sited as the reason for the withdrawal. Whittaker took to Twitter to state an apology, saying he had other things going on in his life that needed to take priority. Jared Cannonier is still on the card at this time. We hope for the best for Rob and cant wait to see him back in the octagon!

Welcome back Untrained Experts listeners! We appreciate each and every one of you who are still rocking with us! We ran into some issues with scheduling, sickness and just life in general but we are back! We will be moving to a bi-weekly format in order to keep up with the podcast and keep the content coming! On Episode 34 we catch up on some past fights, make some predictions for some up coming fights and pick our favorite fights of 2019!

Gervonta "Tank" Davis stops Yuriorkis Gamboa in the 12th round to claim the vacant WBA lightweight title! Davis was dominant but worked at a much slower pace than usual. Not sure if it had to do with the added weight, lack of a proper training camp or just the fact that this is his first fight to go passed 8 rounds. Either way Tank remains undefeated with a record of 23-0 with 22 ko's!

Wilder vs Fury 2 has been confirmed for Feb. 22nd in Las Vegas! Cant wait to see how the rematch goes after a great first fight that ended in a draw! Drop your predictions in the comments!

Per , Former UFC welterweight title contender and Bellator welterweight champion, Rory "Red King" MacDonald has signed a multi fight deal with the PFL! Rory has a professional record of 21-6-1 with wins over the likes of Nate Diaz, B.J. Penn, Demian Maia, Tyron Woodley, Paul Daley and Douglas Lima! His latest bout was a title fight rematch against Douglas Lima in the finale of the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix, where he lost via unanimous decision.
