The guys have been putting in the work getting ready for Arkalatex Challenge …but today was a fun day . They both mastered the teeter pretty quickly .

Just an update . While the Covid numbers are high , Haven Homes has asked that no visitors come to the homes , and no residents leave . That has put a bit of a damper on the fellas outdoor riding , but we provided them with trainers so they can at least keep the legs moving . Hopefully we can get back up and rolling on down the river soon , but everyone’s health is way more important .

So we were watching the weather to see if we were riding or learning bike maintenance . Turns out we had time and weather to do both . Rode in some pretty heavy headwinds but enjoyed those tailwinds . Then we went back to my shop and learned how to clean and l**e a chain and how to change a flat tire .

2 Seat bags with basic tools and co2 pump Short in sizes large and medium . Bib would be awesome but regular is fine .
Long fingered gloves in large and extra large .
Socks in large
Long sleeve jerseys in medium and large .
Short sleeve jerseys in medium and large .
Wind jackets in medium and large
Skull caps or cycling caps .
Arm warmers in large .
Seriously , anything else you can think of that makes your rides more enjoyable .
We have not year made the transition to cycling shoes , so they don’t currently need clipless items .
