These boys went down to Bossier City Louisiana this weekend to play in the 2D Sports Youth Baseball North Louisiana 8u Open State tournament and brought the GOLD back to Arkansas! We’ve been talking to the boys about what it’s going to take for them to take the next step in AAA ball and I think they did just that this weekend. Going 5-0 and out scoring their opponents 67-23! Us Coaches and Parents couldn’t be more proud of these players! Keep the foot on the gas boys!

Heat Baseball won 1 game and tied the second one Saturday in pool play games. Sunday we made it to the semi-finals, but that's where our day ended. The boys are still trying to find the game in, and game out, consistency to grind it out to the finals in these Open division tournaments we are challenged with in USSSA. Each game presents learning opportunities and these boys are going to continue to grow as a team the more we get to practice.

On a side note, the boys had a blast celebrating the upcoming birthday of one of their teammates, Kaine Clift. Happy early Birthday Kaine!!!!

Congratulations Heat Baseball on the 2nd place finish at the Hot Springs Mothers Day 1 day tournament. Long day, late night, and lots of fun!! In honor of the Mothers day weekend, the team jerseys changed to PINK and had the player's mom's name on the back. What a great day!!!
