Week 21 — Romanian Deadlift (RDL)

🔹 Exercise:
Romanian Deadlift (RDL)

🔹 What It Works:

* Glutes
* Hamstrings
* Core
* Lower back

Benefit: Builds strength in your entire posterior chain (the muscles on the back side of your body), helping improve posture, power, balance, and everyday movement.

🔹 How To Do It:

* Keep a soft bend in your knees.
* Push your hips back.
* Keep the weights close to your legs.
* Keep your chest proud and back flat.
* Squeeze your glutes to stand tall.

🔹 Tip: Don’t turn this into a squat! The movement comes from your hips moving backward, not your knees bending forward. If you feel it mostly in your quads, reset and focus on sending your hips back.

What I eat in a day to hit 160g of protein as a pescatarian 💪🐟

These are just SOME examples of how I hit my goals and feel my best 🙌
There’s no “perfect” menu… it’s about finding meals you enjoy, can repeat consistently, and that help you feel GOOD.

Some foods always on repeat for me:
✨ Shrimp
✨ White fish
✨ Tuna fish
✨ Quest chips
✨ Most veggies
✨ Sourdough bread (a must 😂)
✨ Baked potatoes
✨ Joseph’s 60 calorie flaxseed pita pockets
✨ Built Bars
✨ Oats
✨ Protein pancakes
✨ Egg whites

It’s all about balance, consistency, and learning what works for YOUR body.

Last weekend was busy and honestly… an absolute blast ❤️ But my body definitely knew I was off my normal routine because I didn’t feel my best this week. And that’s okay. I didn’t beat myself up, didn’t spiral, and didn’t feel guilty. Just got right back to my normal habits with zero regret 👏

That’s the goal — not perfection. Just building habits you can always come back to.

But honestly? This is EXACTLY why I teach flexibility over perfection. Meal prep doesn’t have to mean eating the same soggy salad for 4 days straight. Sometimes prep is just making your life easier for 1–2 meals so you’re more likely to stay on track when life gets busy.

You don’t fail because you changed your mind. You adapt. 💪

A few things that help me:
• Prep proteins instead of full meals
• Keep crunchy toppings separate
• Make “mix & match” ingredients instead of identical containers
• Give yourself permission to pivot

Consistency > forcing yourself to eat sad salads all week 😂

💪 Monday Muscle — Week 17

🔹 Exercise:
Cross-Body Oblique Crunch

🔹 What It Works:
This exercise targets your obliques (side abs), upper core, and deep stabilizing muscles while also helping improve core control and rotational strength.

🔹 How To Do It (Form Tips):
✔️ Lie on your back with one leg crossed over the other
✔️ Keep your core tight and lower back gently pressed into the floor
✔️ Reach the opposite shoulder toward the raised knee
✔️ Exhale as you crunch up
✔️ Move slowly and with control — don’t yank on your neck

🔹 Think about lifting through your shoulder blade instead of just swinging your elbow across your body. The goal is to squeeze the obliques, not rush through the reps!
